Since launching in Australia in 2017, we’ve challenged and shaped the industry with a formula based on clinical excellence, open and transparent pricing, and premium products at value for money prices.

All our audiology businesses are located within a Specsavers optical store. This means we can introduce audiology to an already engaged audience, many of whom would never have encountered audiology before, and start them on the journey to recognise the value of their hearing. It’s a natural fit and from a consumer perspective, makes perfect sense that ‘sight and hearing’ should be covered in the same location.

We pride ourselves on our transparency as a hearing care provider: from our up-front and clearly communicated pricing, to being honest and straightforward with our partners and employees. We are what we say we are; and deliver on our promises.

Discover the benefits of Specsavers Audiology Joint Venture Partnerships

Package – salary + super + quarterly dividend distributions

Our audiology partners are business owners, however, unlike other business owners, they earn a market-rate salary and superannuation package for the lifetime of their partnership agreement – guaranteed by Specsavers Audiology.

For our audiologist partners, this salary is AUD$110,000 plus 11% employer contribution to your superannuation account, while for audiometrist partners earn AUD$100,000 plus 11% employer contribution to your superannuation account.

However, this salary package is just one component of the value of their partnership, Specsavers partners also own profit-earning shared in their business, rewarding them for their hard work and efforts as business owners.

  • So, the potential value of a Specsavers Audiology joint venture partnership is divided between:
  • Annual salary + superannuation package (paid fortnightly)
  • Annual profit (paid quarterly once the business is making profits)
  • The future value of the shares in the business (paid when the partner retires from the business).
  • When you become a Specsavers partner, the Specsavers’ support team will work with you to provide the very best product range, equipment, finance, admin, IT, in-store systems, marketing, training and development, plus more.
  • You will be able to focus on developing and growing your business and your business’ profits.

We understand that for many audiology professionals, flexibility is important. At Specsavers Audiology, we believe in offering our partners true flexibility – which covers the day-to-day operational responsibilities, clinical decision-making, and for partners – business growth.

Clinical independence

At Specsavers, we only partner with and employ experienced and passionate audiology professionals. We trust your clinical expertise and leave all the clinical decision-making to you. We have a framework and structure to support you – from clinical advisers, Audiology Relationship Managers, to partner forums, so you’re never out there working on your own! Plus, we trust you as you’re the audiology expert, and you know how to do your job to support your customers hearing needs.

No sales targets or KPIs

We don’t believe in setting KPIs or sales targets! It’s not our focus, nor should it be yours. Instead, we’re focused on helping our partners grow their business and supporting partners and employed clinicians in prioritising their customer’s care.

We have a product range which is second-to-none, and we’re upfront and transparent about our pricing. We don’t believe in tactics others in the industry follow – we’re about complete transparency, advising our customers of the cost of hearing products at the outset of their journey, so they can make fully informed decisions about their hearing care.
